This is definitely a work-in-progress. I'll be adding posts related to my graduate work in Educational Leadership.

Reflections
I think, overall, the biggest obstacle to most educators, whether teachers or administrators, is time. Finding time to accomplish educational and professional goals while balancing other areas of their lives was the number one challenge cited by my peers during our discussions. I think that an important idea that I need to keep in mind as I work to reach my educational leadership goals is that I can’t do everything. I need to learn to prioritize; no matter how many essential issues there may seem to be, I must focus on a few at a time, or I will not be successful at exploring any of them. In addition, I can use the discoveries of other principal-researchers to serve as the background and foundation for issues of research on my own campus. Remembering that there is a community of learners out there—growing, discovering, creating, refining—reassures me that I am not alone, and there is great comfort in that.

Agree 100%!!! At times I'm finding it hard to be able to find that healthy balance between work, studies and personal life! Hopefully, it will all fall into place :-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, have you figured out where exactly we post our Action Research Plan in our E-Portfolio? I emailed my Instructional Associate, but she doesn't know. Please share if you know. Thank you!!!
